ON TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 7, ORIGIN DID SOMETHING FOR OUR VENDORS YOU DON’T SEE OFTEN IN THE MARKETING, ADVERTISING AND DESIGN WORLD—BESIDES PAY THEM ON TIME. WE THREW THEM A PARTY.

Houston—November 7, 2006—“Calling All Saints,” decried the event’s invitation to receive Origin’s official apology for “putting them through Hell” with its massive workload.

A live band, catered Mediterranean food and lots of appreciation were all on hand to greet the many print reps, media planners, trade show companies, writers and other partners who were Canonized into Sainthood for the many miracles they conduct supporting Origin’s workload.

Vendors received print and email invitations featuring industry Saints and a hand-crafted wooden gift box containing commemorative prayer candles and custom-designed t-shirts that let them: “wear their sainthood on their sleeve.”

“Our vendors really are saints,” said Origin Principal Jimmie Ruggerio. “Just as our customers expect more from us, we expect more from our vendors. And they come through. Doing business with Origin is a choice: they’re choosing to work harder and think harder than when serving other firms, but that effort is more than rewarded—it’s revered.”
