ORIGIN ANNOUNCES ARRIVAL OF TEXAS CHILDREN'S NEWBORN CENTER CAMPAIGN

EDUCATING EXPECTANT PARENTS TO PREPARE FOR THE UNEXPECTED IS AT THE HEART OF ORIGIN'S PRINT AND ONLINE CAMPAIGN FOR TEXAS CHILDREN'S NEWBORN CENTER.

Houston—November 30, 2009—Approximately one out of 10 babies born in the United States requires neonatal intensive care. As one of the most experienced neonatal intensive care units in the country, Texas Children’s Newborn Center wanted to help expectant parents prepare for this unexpected possibility.

Origin worked closely with Texas Children’s Newborn Center to develop messaging, advertising and a downloadable fact kit that educate parents and empower them to plan ahead.

Says strategist and senior copywriter Aimee Borders, “No parent wants to think about a less-than-perfect pregnancy. But starting this dialogue and giving parents a workable plan is in the best interests of entire families. All of us at Origin are honored to help Texas Children’s Newborn Center bring such an important message to families throughout the region.”

Creative will appear online and in regional issues of national publications, including Parenting and FitPregnancy. To download the fact kit, visit Texas Children's Newborn Center.
