Job Title: Senior Flash Motion Designer

In this role, you would be expected to be a technical innovator as well as a conceptual and visual leader — efficiently designing, animating and producing animated and motion-related media solutions that are unique and on target. You would also be expected to manage multiple projects or multi-component programs from concept to completion, deliver quality results, meet project deadlines, mentor coworkers in your areas of expertise, work collaboratively with designers in other mediums on integrated branding initiatives and effectively communicate with management, coworkers, clients and vendors. You will also be expected to act as the subject matter expert in Flash animation, audio and video formats, web optimization of these formats as well as animated components of larger projects using the latest web technologies: Flash, Photoshop and Illustrator.
Must Haves…
- Expert level experience with Flash and Photoshop
- Amazing design and animation skills
- Experience storyboarding and diagramming to convey interactivity concepts
- Working knowledge of desktop audio and video editing processes and software (AfterEffects, FinalCut Pro)
- Working knowledge of XHTML and CSS.
- 3+ years producing animation for interactive experiences in a team environment for multiple client projects
- BFA with strong technology skills preferred. CS Majors with strong design experience will also be considered
Optional Skills…
- After Effects
- Final Cut Pro
- Experience directing video and audio productions
