Houston—February 15, 2010—Continuing a streak of Best of Show wins, Origin earned the coveted Best of Show Interactive Award for CenterPoint Energy’s 2009 online annual report at the 48th Annual Show. Says Partner Jim Mousner, “In 2008 and 2009 print annual reports for two of our clients won Best of Show. Over the past few years, we’ve all begun making a transition to a more robust interactive component together. It is so gratifying to see our work and our client’s foresight rewarded.”
In addition to the Best of Show, Origin picked up three gold Addys, three silver Addys and four citations of excellence at the 2010 American Advertising Foundation-Houston Addy Awards.
While one gold also honored CenterPoint Energy’s online annual report, a second gold honored Second.org, the result of a year-plus-long collaboration with Second Baptist, the nation’s third largest church. More than 3,000 pages, 24 XHTML/CSS layouts, five color schemes, cross browser transparency support and embedded flash resulted in an inviting, approachable, highly customizable online experience for the church’s 50,000+ members.
Origin earned both a gold and silver Addy for last year’s Addy Awards materials and took home silver Addys for Apache Energy’s 2008 online annual report and our very own brochure (Want a copy? Click here.).
Citations of Excellence for BHP Billiton’s Annual Review, Global Sports Development’s brochure and web site and Endeavor International rounded out the evening’s winnings.
